As a number of people were gracious enough to point out to me, I'm apparently getting older!  It's always gratifying and humbling when friends take a couple minutes out of their day to say or do something special, especially when there's no expectation of a return on the investment (time, as they say, is money, right?).  At any rate, I wanted to take a moment away from my usual ranting and whingeing to say thank you- sincerely- to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, yesterday.  I had a great time- a friend of mine bought me Resident Evil 5 and then spent the next five hours kicking my ass at it

For those who are interested, I've been working on Cold Fury, again, and I think I'm close to getting another chapter out.  This chapter is a biggie, too, and may need to be split over several sections.  Keep your eyes open- I've gotten some great advice and assistance from CDR and others, helping me to streamline dialogue in places and more realistically portray spy-tech stuff in others.  The people who've helped me mostly aren't on dA, but they know who they are- and they're great folks, one and all.

Anyways, that's about it- just wanted to say Thank You, once again; you guys really are the best!
