1. Has lived in the U.S., England, and South Korea for more than a year in each location; currently lives in a place that is semi-consistently listed as the third hottest place on Earth (2nd hottest at night, when Death Valley's average temperature plummets).

2. Has experimented with drawing, charcoal, watercolor, oils, chalk, and even sculpture modification; his experiments were mostly terrible and have been thankfully buried, although he still dabbles in drawing.

3. Has an extremely eclectic taste in music, but prefers songs that can be performed a capella; sings and has sung at numerous weddings, coffee houses, several recitals, and choir performances as both a member in the chorus and as a paid soloist.

4. Enjoys writing but is often stymied by his ADD which keeps him from maintaining focus as thoroughly as he would like.

5. Has coached soccer (football to you non-Americans) for two years; last played soccer in middle school and (briefly) in the intramural school team in England when in high school. Was never a particularly good midfielder, but played decent defense.

6. Was married for eight years; although the divorce in 2005 was amicable, has been very wary of romantic entanglements since then.

7. Teaches English, Mythology, American Literature, and Creative Writing and has taught English as a Second Language in a variety of subject areas (although he is not fluent in any languages save English).
